AE2 Pattern Counter adds specialized monitoring blocks that display the number of specific pattern types stored in your AE2 network. Perfect for tracking your automation setup at a glance.

Features

Five Specialized Counters

  • Crafting Pattern Counter - Monitors standard crafting patterns
  • Processing Pattern Counter - Tracks processing patterns
  • Fluid Pattern Counter - Counts fluid crafting patterns
  • Smithing Pattern Counter - Displays smithing table patterns
  • Stonecutting Pattern Counter - Shows stonecutter patterns

Visual Feedback

  • Real-time Count Display - See your pattern count directly on the monitor face
  • Power Status Indicator - Bright texture when powered, dark when off
  • Offline Detection - "OFFLINE" message with smooth blinking animation when no channel is available
  • Color-Coded - Each pattern type has its own unique color scheme

Installation

  1. Download the mod JAR for your loader (Forge or Fabric)
  2. Install Applied Energistics 2 and Architectury API
  3. Place all mod files in your mods folder
  4. Launch Minecraft

Usage

  1. Craft the pattern counter you want to monitor
  2. Place it on any AE2 cable or network block
  3. The counter will automatically display the number of patterns of that type in your network
  4. If "OFFLINE" appears, check your network channel allocation

Compatibility

  • Multi-platform: Works on both Forge and Fabric
  • Optional Mods: Compatible with Jade/HWYLA/WTHIT for additional tooltips
  • AE2 Addons: Compatible with other AE2 addon mods
