AdvanceBase, released in 2017 for 1.12.2, was my second mod, and the first for versions after 1.7.10. However, I partially abandoned it in 2020, but am uploading to Modrinth for archival purposes. In addition, I plan to release version 3.0.0 of AdvanceBase at some point in the future, especially now that I have vastly improved and expanded my knowledge of Java.

Original Description

AdvanceBase is my first mod for 1.10.2 and Higher, and the first Mod in the AdvanceMC Lineup of mods. It adds ores, ingots, and other resources for its fellow AdvanceMC Mods, coming soon. You can also use this mod if you want a bunch of placeholder ores for your modpack.

Currently Implemented:

  • Ores (Copper, Tin, Lead, Silver, Aluminum) and their respective ingots, blocks, nuggets, plates, dusts, and gears.
  • Silicon piece and Sulfur Dust (Currently unobtainable)
  • Bronze Ingot and Gear
  • Advancium Ore/Ingot, which will serve as the core resource for my other mods.

Runs on Forge 2099 and Higher (1.10.2) or forge 2705 and higher (1.12.2).

2.3.1 - The Texture Update!

So, I'm back with the first update for this in almost two years, but why? Well, as you should know, I was working on a replacement for AdvanceBase for 1.14.x and Above called ADG Resources. However, I would still like to maintain AdvanceBase on 1.12.2 for as long as I can. In addition, I am studying Computer Science in college now, and now that I have a much more formal understanding of Java (rather than self-taught stuff) I would like to release AdvanceBase 3.0, a Complete Rewrite of the mod, at some point. Anyways, here's the Changelog.

  • Updated Forge to version 2847
  • Made New Textures for all Dusts, Nuggets, and Plates.

2.3.0 - The Parts Update!!

  • Added Dusts/Nuggets/Plates (Sorry for bad textures, those are my dev ones) (I need an artist bad)
  • Added A Config File (Located at %minecraft folder%/adg/advancemods/base.cfg)
  • Config Currently only contains ore spawning toggle.
  • Cleaned up Stuff Internally

  • Crude Machine Base (It will be re-added in another AdvanceMod)

  • Was too rushed and forgot to add Tin Block to the OreDict.
  • Readded OreDict Recipes for Blocks.

Changed the block recipes to use this mod's ingots instead of OreDict ones, since my Ore Dict isn't working. As I search for a fix, a temporary one is to use CraftTweaker to register my items in the Ore Dictionary. See http://crafttweaker.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Vanilla/OreDict/ for information.
