Public Alpha 0.3 For 1.21.1

Initial Alpha Release

This is the first alpha version of the modpack. Have Fun! Although this version is marked as Alpha, it is much more stable than the Beta versions of 1.21, so we do recommend using this version instead.

Known Issues

Screen flickers in some inventory UIs, might be caused by OptiGUI mod.

Warning

This is a Alpha version of the modpack, here be dragons, crashes can occur, and we hope you share as much feedback as you could to help us improve in our future releases.

Tips

Do Not interact with the Minecraft window during Any Loading Screen, whether it's a resource pack reload, or shader reload etc. Minecraft will most likely crash when you do so. As long as we know, this is not our issue, so do be extra careful.

Future Plans

A server side modpack will be uploaded soon! No other plans for now except for bug-fixing...

Known Problems

From now on, a GitHub Repo has been created to track all the issues, so no more "Known Problems" on the Modrinth Changelog. A wiki is also located on the same Repo.

How To Properly Send Feedback

On the Issues page of the Repo, click "New issue" to create a new issue (or visit https://github.com/nuomibinggao/Vanyllia/issues/new). On the Title, briefly describe the bug in a few words, in the description, describe your problem. It should include as much info as possible, the following things must be included:

• The environment, eg. Client/Server-side, and the mods included in your environment
• Version of the modpack and the Minecraft version
• A detailed description of the problem
• Source of modpack files Be sure to mark your issue with tags in the issues page of the Repo.

Do Not spam issues, especially repeated ones. Your feedback will make our project better.

Known Problems

Please send feedback if you know the solutions!

• A chance to crash during a resource pack reload or shader reload especially when frequent reloads like this happen (even when you don't interact with the Minecraft window while reloading)
• Doors in a open state will display their original model even when the VanillaTweaks resource pack is enabled
• The Double Doors mod does not work in servers even if it is installed in the server
• The mod What's That Slot? doesn't work in some occasions

Future Plans

As of now, a pack containing all the server mods has been created. We are now testing the stability and functionality of these mods. This pack will (most likely) be released in the next update.

A "Lite" version of the pack is also being developed, this helps low-end PC users to enjoy the pack. This version will (most likely) be released within the next few weeks. (Seperatly to this modpack)

We are also working on downgrading to versions 1.20.1 and 1.20.4 (1.19.2 in the future) but keep in mind that we will still be mainly working on the 1.21 version of the pack, so updates for lower versions can be delayed.

• Merged the Colourful Containers packs into Recolourful Containers Dark Mode GUI + HUD
