2 - 4 Players
OBJECTIVE
Be the first player to move all four of your tokens from your starting area to the center of the board (HOME).
SETUP
Each player chooses a color
Decide who goes first (usually youngest player starts)
GAME PLAY
Basic Movement
Players take turns rolling the die
To enter a token onto the main track, you must roll a 1 or 6
Once on the track, move tokens clockwise around the board according to the number rolled
Special Rolls
Rolling a 6: You get an extra turn after moving
Rolling three 6s in a row: Your turn ends and your most advanced token returns to start
Capturing/Knocking Out
If you land on a space occupied by an opponent's token, the opponent's token returns to their starting area and you can roll the dice again
You cannot capture tokens in SAFE ZONES (marked with crying obsidian)
You cannot capture tokens that are together (two tokens on same space form a block)

Central safe spaces are safe for all players
Home Column
The colored path leading to the center is your HOME COLUMN
Once entered, tokens can only move forward toward HOME
You must roll the exact number needed to reach the center HOME space
WINNING
The first player to get all four tokens into the center HOME space wins
Some variations require you to roll the exact number to enter home
STRATEGY TIPS
Spread your tokens around the board to increase mobility
Use blocks (two tokens together) to protect against captures
Time your captures to set opponents back
Balance moving advanced tokens with bringing new tokens out
COMMON VARIATIONS
Quick Ludo: Start with all tokens already on the track
Team Play: 2-vs-2 where partners sit opposite each other
Exact Count: Must roll exact number to get home (standard rule)
