Most projectiles in this datapack use snowballs for hit detection, so unless you're using a mod/plugin that enables snowball pvp, they will not register against other players.
NOTE: datapacks with enchantment changes/additions, such as this one, are currently "experimental" on realms. This may result in the datapack not working, depending on how much it relies on that system. This datapack is basically built completely on custom enchantments, so unfortunately it won't work on realms until Mojang makes a change. Sorry!
PPG's Runic Weaponry introduces several different unique weapons, each with their own textures and abilities, and a combat-oriented magic system with runes and special hats to spice up survival gameplay! This datapack takes complete advantage of the new enchantment system to create cool but straightforward weapon mechanics.
The abilities given to players in this datapack are generally balanced around vanilla survival, so don't expect any of the weapons or spells to make you a murder machine. My goal is to provide players with cool abilities that make vanilla survival more engaging but don't take away too much of the difficulty (obviously, that also depends on the difficulty you're playing it on). There is a bit of emphasis on building your armor/weapon sets since that has always been a game mechanic that I enjoy.
TO GET STARTED: Craft a "Mysterious Rune" with 1 stone in the middle and 4 lapis lazuli surrounding it. Using the Mysterious Rune will unlock all new recipes for this datapack in the recipe book, as well as unlock the mana system which will allow you to use spells.

Note: The Mysterious Rune is not required for using any of the unique weapons. So, if you find a unique weapon before unlocking mana, or for any reason you do not want to interact with the magic system at all, you can just obtain the weapons and use them independently. Have fun!
