We all love pets in Minecraft, but we hate when they die. Eternal pets is a mod/datapack that adds a pet respawning mechanic to the parrot, the cat, and the wolf!

Mod/Datapack for Minecraft: Java Edition

We all love pets in Minecraft, but we hate when they die. Eternal pets is a mod/datapack that add a pet respawning mechanic to the parrot, the cat, and the wolf!

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed wolf armor remaining on wolves after death If they die while wearing wolf armor without destroying it (e.g. by drowning/instant damage potions), the armor will drop, and the wolf will respawn with the armor still on it, duplicating it. REPORT

🔧 Improvements

  • Gave the config a "bit of a glow up."

💻 Technical

  • Rewrote the entire pack from scratch.
  • Pets no longer use totems of undying to detect death.
  • Pets now actually die and respawn instead of going to sky limbo.
  • Changed the pack format to match 1.21-1.21.4.
