Chems' Guns is an addon for Gamingbarn's Guns/Gun Core designed and developed by the World of Tanks YouTuber Chems. Most models+textures and many sounds were created soley by him. The project, originally developed for Minecraft 1.21.3, has been ported to newer versions by yours truely. I will also update the project to newer versions as they release. All promotional media and assets have been created by myself.

Chems' Guns adds over 65 brand, new guns to vanilla Minecraft! Over eight tiers of guns, with categories ranging from pistols, ARs, SMGs, Shotguns, to even Tesla Cannons and Seige Bombardment! Chems' Guns gives players countless new ways defend your property, fend off zombies, and destroy the known world! Four of the guns added by Chems' Guns
A player holding a powerful explosive weapon, flanked by two other weapons of mass descruction For players with lots of time on their hands, or those who are committed to total world domination, there is an expansive array of highly expensive and highly descructive weaponry. Chems' Guns adds several new bosses that must first be conquered in order to attain some of these weapons. Once obtained, the world is your oyster!
The gun library isn't limited just to expensive, powerfully descrutive weapons of war. New players with very little resources can craft a large array of cheap firearms. Don't be worried, however, as these guns can still pack a punch and give an awesome experience! Four other guns added by Chems' Guns
The recipe book from Minecraft All guns, ammunition, and other items added by this pack can be crafted in the vanilla crafting table! You can search for terms like "Pistol" or "Tier 3" to search for specific types and tiers of guns. Additionally, all items added by this datapack can be obtained through the given functions: /function give:<GUN NAME>.

You can make your own pack just like this by using the Gun Generator and Ammo Generator from gamingbarn.net!

Added Guide Book

  • A simple, comprehensive manual covering the mechanics of Chems' Guns
  • It covers the controls, the changes to vanilla items, and the bosses and their drops
  • This should vastly reduce confusion with new players, and players in general

Rewrote Lich King

  • The Lich King has been rewritten to be much simpler and less complex behind-the-scene
  • He no longer has phases and has lost all of his special abilities
  • He now spawns skeleton minions periodically, much like the other two bosses
  • The Lich King will eventually be updated again to have all his old music, abilities, and more

Tweaked Giant Boss

  • Added minion cap, so no more than 10 zombie minions may exist at once
  • Adjusted spawning to require an Enchanted Golden Apple be near a zombie, not picked-up, to spawn
  • Removed loot table from zombie minions so they no longer drop items

Tweaked Spider Queen

  • Added minion cap, so that no more than 18 spider minions may exist at once
  • Increased the distance a minion must be away from the Queen to spawn another from 6 to 8 blocks
  • Nerfed healing from regeneration 4 to regen 2
  • Buffed HP from 200 to 400
  • Removed loot table from spider minions so they don't drop items

Removed Additional Mobs Loop

  • Removed the system put in-place to spawn additional hostile mobs
  • The system was conflicting with other packs, mods, and plugins without adding any huge value

Added Sculk Catalyst Drop to Warden

  • The vanilla Warden drops a Sculk Catalyst, not sure why it was removed from the loot table
  • This makes spawning the Lich King much easier

Adjusted Missile Barrage Functionality

  • Instead of waiting for all missile barrages to end, any new barrages will stop the old one and spawn in

Fixed Broken Death Message for Airstrike

  • The death message for the Airstrike is now properley displayed

Added pack.png to Datapack

  • The pack.png of the resource pack has been added to the datapack, and the resource pack has been given a new pack.png

Fixed Wrong Resource Pack Description

  • The format still stated the pack was bundled with GBG

Added Additional Spawning System

  • In order to help improve the poor spawn rates, additional monsters can spawn whenever a normal monster spawns
  • More monsters won't spawn if the total amount of monsters in the world exceeds 256

Added Chems Guns Config Menu

  • A custom config menu to controll various aspects of the pack
  • Right now, only the raid can be adjusted throught this menu
  • The config menu can be accessed by: /function config:chems_guns

Added Raid Mode Disabled Option

  • The raid is no longer mandatory
  • When the pack is first loaded, users are asked if they want to play with the raid or not

Added Generic Proxy Mine

  • A proxy mine that can be used if there is the raid mode isn't enabled, and thus no raid teams

Buffed Sculk Shrieker Echo Shard Drops

  • Instead of having a 50% chance to drop 1 shard, the shrieker now has a 100% chance to drop 2-4 shards

Added Minecraft Recipes to Recipe Gve Function

  • The recipe give function now gives players the Minecraft item recipes added by Chems' Guns

Tweaked Ender Eye Recipe

  • The Eye of Ender recipe has been altered to cost two ender pearls and provide two eyes of ender

Tweaked Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template Recipe

  • The recipe has been nerfed to require two diamonds in addition to the quarts and netheracks\

Tweaked Missile Barrage

  • Doubled speed that rockets spawn, but halfed duration of barrage

Removed not_gbg Folder

  • This was all unused legacy code and would populate the console with several unnessesary errors

Fixed Broken 2nd Rocket Recipe

  • The bulk rocket recipe was broken.
  • Additionally, the bulk rocket recipe has been grouped with the standard rocket recipe inside the crafting table

Fixed Broken Charged Bone and Greener Goop Textures

  • The textures for the Charged Bone and Greener Goop wouldn't render properly
