Open the bakery of your dreams with the Baked Necessities Vanilla+ Minecraft datapack. This data pack aims to enhance the players Vanilla experience by adding in 15+ custom baked goods, new crafting recipes, new decorative blocks, quests, workstations, and the functional register block that will bring your bakery to life. Fancy a Small Multiplayer experience? This data pack is Realm compatible!
The Main Focus of this Data pack is to expand upon vanilla ingredients currently in the game, emphasizing on unique sweet treats. This pack features a large variety of baked goods from brownies to exotic candies granting players powerful abilities. Those seeking a new way to make emeralds can now open a Bakery and sell your newly acquired Baked Goods to villagers using the Sweet Box Mechanic. Furthermore, villagers actually acquire the items they purchase from your Bakery and use them similar to Carrots, Bread, Potatoes, and Wheat.

Realms/SMP Friendly
This data pack is Realms compatible! If you fancy a multiplayer experience, create a single player world and add the data pack to it. Once it is created, upload the world to your realm and you are good to go!
Server Load: Low Impact
Note: In order for your friends to experience the magic of the data pack, everybody needs to have the Resource Pack enabled and selected.
How to Install - Easy to Install Resource Pack
- Download the Resource Pack
- Open Minecraft Launcher >> Launch Game
- At Main Menu >> Select Options
- Select Resource Packs >> Open Pack Folder >> Drag the Zipped BN_resource file into this folder.
- Close the File Browser >> Toggle the file so that it is under the Selected Column.
- Good to Go! Have Fun!
- Proceed to Data Pack step below (Host/Single-Player only needs to do the Data Pack step below).
How to Install - Easy to Install Data Pack

- Open Minecraft Launcher >> Launch Game
- At Main Menu >> Select Single Player >> Create New World >> More Tab
- Select Data Packs >> Open Pack Folder >> Drag the Zipped BN_data file into this folder.

Sweet Deals:
- -Fixed an issue with Sweet Boxes and Wandering Trader sweet deals quests not registering correctly.
- -Sweet Boxes should now be able to be turned in regardless of if they were packed on the Prep Table, or boxed fresh out of the oven.

BN 3.2.0 - 1.21.8 - Brews & Barista Update
//--- FINALLY, a use for the coffee maker! Open up the coffee shop of your dreams in this next update. --//
Additions:
- -Added Platers for serving coffee (Annnnnnnnnnnd Displaying those sweet goodies)
- -Can be crafted via the crafting table (Recipes SHOULD be available)
- -Plates can be crafted in 16 different colors.
- -Added in a new sale mechanic for coffee.
- *Hot drinks can now be sold to villagers, similar to how sweet boxes are sold.
How it works:
- -Craft a Plate
- -Brew either a Tea, or Coffee
- -Place the Coffee or Tea by right clicking on the Plate.
- -Make sure that there is a Active register within a 10 block radius of the Plated Drink.
Changes:
- *Bakery Mechanics have been tweaked quite a bit.
Updated Mechanics:
- -When a villager enters a register radius, it will now roll on a loot table and loot for an available category.
Category List:
- -Pies (Lowest Odds of being Picked).
- -Bars
- -Cupcake/Muffins
- -Pastries
- -Wizarding Candies
- -Drinks (Greatest Chance of being Picked).
-With that being said, the odds of selling a good have been lowered (Before the goods would almost instantly sell). -You will now have a better chance of selling goods if you diversify what you offer (Having Baked goods from multiple categories).

BN 3.1.11 - 1.21.6 - QOL Update
//-- This is a badly needed QOL update. We also have some very exciting things on the horizon for this pack!
My Planned Updates:
Coffee Shop Updates; -As of right now the coffee pot is slightly useless, I want to take full advantage of everything this has to offer. -Players will be able to serve coffee to villagers if all goes according to plan!
Decorum Updates; -I'm going to be adding in some new decorations to make our culinary treats feel more Alive!
Bakery Levels | Recipes; -For reaching certain milestones, players will receive special recipes to aid them in the journey. --//
Hotfix/Changes:
*Register Rewards: -Baker Rewards now Refresh! Meaning after you hit the max, no need to pick up the register and re-put it down to receive another round of Baker Rewards (The cycle resets). -This scoreboard runs independently of the Top Earners scoreboard seen when players approach the register. -Reward Milestones are now louder, with custom sounds.
*Crafting Bench Recipe Cleanup- -Recipes that used eggs are now kept under one specific category. -This category can be expanded or collapsed.
Resource Pack: -Updated to new version.
